New installation on a mature gas lift oil well in the Norwegian North Sea

There’s been more North Sea activity for the ClearWELL team with our first maintenance check on this offshore unit. The installation is on a mature gas lift oil well in the Norwegian North Sea.

The weather was kind, if a little windy, for the visit, but our units are designed to withstand all types of extreme conditions. We have installations around the world which regularly experience prolonged high and low temperatures and exposure to wind, rain, snow, ice, sand, dust and humidity. Our units use IP66 rated enclosures and are ATEX/IECEx certified for use in hazardous areas (zones 1 and 2) and CSA Group certified for the United States and Canada. They can be equipped with satellite communication for remote monitoring and use, on average, only 4 watts of continuous power to keep your wells flowing – less than the average LED lightbulb!
