As we continue to roll-out our game-changing ClearWELL™ technology for an increasing number of operators around the world, here’s another example of an effective solution we recently provided for a new customer in Central Alberta, Canada.
Well architecture, surrounding site infrastructure and downhole conditions can all vary considerably across different assets so we always carefully evaluate each individual well before committing to an installation. After our tests were complete for this particular site, we used two connection points for effective propagation of ClearWELL™’s electromagnetic field, along with an independent ground rod.
This operator is now benefitting from continuous and highly effective protection against calcite deposition in their rod lift well. Scale control is especially important for artificial lift wells as it can significantly impact pump performance and motor loading (surface and subsurface), causing untimely equipment failure, downtime for remediation and loss of production. In this well, scale had been observed across the pump intake, the lower bottom hole assembly and on the rods. Now the operator will benefit from reduced remediation costs and more efficient uplift, adding much greater cumulative value and longer term reliability.
If you’d like to find out more about how we can improve your well’s performance efficiencies by controlling scale deposition with our eco-friendly electrical surface device, monitored 24/7, then please get in touch on sales@clearwellenergy.com
